 An attack on the Israeli army in the West Bank with a hammer, a Palestinian was martyred in the retaliatory fire

 A Palestinian boy who attacked an Israeli soldier with a hammer in the occupied West Bank was killed in return fire.

 The Israeli army said in its statement that the soldier suffered minor injuries from the hammer blow.  The Israeli army also released a picture of the hammer and knife that were recovered from the dead boy.  The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed the death of 17-year-old Hashem Mubarak, saying he was hit by Israeli fire near the village of Beitan.
